Abyssal Plain

The abyssal plain is a vast, flat, and extremely deep area of the Ocean Floor, typically found between 3,000 and 6,000 meters below the surface. These remote stretches of the Deep Sea are among the Earth's least explored environments, characterized by soft sediments and immense pressure.
