Adolf Hitler

Adolf Hitler (1889–1945) was the dictator of Nazi Germany and a central figure in the outbreak of World War II. His regime was responsible for the Holocaust, a genocide that led to the systematic murder of millions.

Henry Tandey & Adolf Hitler Butterfly Effect

Henry Tandey, a highly decorated British soldier in World War I, is rumored to have spared the life of a young Adolf Hitler after an encounter in September 1918. The story, which surfaced years later, became widely known after Hitler allegedly showed a painting of Tandey to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain in 1938, claiming Tandey was the man who had spared his life. While Tandey admitted to sparing wounded German soldiers, he could not confirm if Hitler was among them, though historical records show Hitler was on leave at the time of the alleged event, a detail that adds to the dispute.
