Adsorption

Adsorption is a surface phenomenon where molecules adhere to the exterior of a solid or liquid, forming a film. Unlike absorption, which involves a substance penetrating the bulk, adsorption is confined to the interface. This process plays a vital role in purification, catalysis, and various environmental and industrial applications.
