+Aleph numbers are a sequence of transfinite cardinal numbers used to represent the sizes, or cardinalities, of infinite [Sets](/wiki/sets). Introduced by [Georg Cantor](/wiki/georg_cantor), each aleph number denotes a distinct level of infinity, with ℵ₀ (aleph-null) being the smallest infinite cardinality.
