+The **Black Hand** (Serbian: *Crna ruka*) was a secret military society formed in [Serbia](/wiki/Serbia) in 1911. Its aim was the unification of all South Slavs, primarily by violent means, and it played a significant role in the events leading to [World War I](/wiki/World_War).
