Canis Minor, the "Lesser Dog," is a small but ancient constellation visible in the northern celestial hemisphere. Though diminutive, it hosts the bright star Procyon, a yellowish-white star and one of Earth's closest stellar neighbors, which helps form the Winter Triangle. This celestial dog follows Orion across the night sky.
