Celestial Navigation

Celestial Navigation is the art and science of determining a ship's or aircraft's position on Earth by observing celestial bodies. For millennia, mariners navigated vast oceans by measuring the angles of the Sun, moon, planets, and Stars above the horizon, often using a Sextant. This method provided reliable Navigation before modern electronics.
