Chanakya

Chanakya (c. 375–283 BCE) was an ancient Indian teacher, philosopher, and royal advisor. He is credited with authoring the ancient Indian treatise on statecraft and economic policy, the Arthashastra, a seminal work on Political Science. Chanakya played a pivotal role in the rise of the Maurya Empire, serving as chief advisor to Emperor Chandragupta.
