The Courage Reactor (あい とゆうきリアクタ?, lit.: "Love and Courage Reactor") is actually a Duracell D battery. It is the first treasure that can be collected in Pikmin 2, and is found partially buried in the Valley of Repose. Upon retrieval, the ship is satisfied with the day's work and the first day is completed. It is worth 100 Pokos.
While Louie discovers this treasure first, he needs to reunite with Olimar before it can be lifted and salvaged.
