+Crowd surfing is the act of a person being passed overhead from hand to hand by a [concert](/wiki/concert) [audience](/wiki/audience). Borne aloft on a sea of hands, the participant rides the shared energy of the crowd, typically at live music events. It is a form of active audience participation, often seen as a thrilling, albeit sometimes risky, experience.
