Der Blaue Reiter

Der Blaue Reiter (German for "The Blue Rider") was a group of Expressionist artists active in Munich from 1911 to 1914, seeking to express spiritual truths through art. Co-founded by Wassily Kandinsky and Franz Marc, they advocated for a spontaneous, intuitive approach, believing color and form could convey deeper meaning beyond mere representation.
