Eigenvalue

An Eigenvalue is a special scalar that characterizes how a Linear Transformation stretches or shrinks vectors. It represents the scaling factor by which a corresponding Eigenvector is stretched, compressed, or flipped, revealing the intrinsic "directions of action" of a transformation.
