Ejecta

+**Ejecta** refers to material expelled and deposited away from its original location by the force of an [Impact](/wiki/impact) event or violent [Explosion](/wiki/explosion). This expelled [Debris](/wiki/debris) can fall back to form a [Crater](/wiki/crater) rim, create secondary impacts, or even escape the gravitational pull of the body.
