Fechners Law

Fechner's Law is a foundational principle in Psychophysics that describes the relationship between physical stimulus intensity and the perceived sensation. It posits that the magnitude of a sensation increases proportionally to the logarithm of the stimulus's physical intensity, meaning our senses register changes less acutely as a Stimulus grows stronger.
