+**GNP** (Gross National Product) represents the total value of all finished goods and services produced by a country's residents, both at home and abroad, over a given period. It offers a broad view of a nation's [Economic Health](/wiki/economic_health) and the income its people generate. Unlike [GDP](/wiki/gdp), GNP specifically includes income from overseas investments and earnings by national residents abroad.
