Iron Curtain

The Iron Curtain was a political, ideological, and physical boundary that divided Europe into two separate areas from the end of World War II until the end of the Cold War. This symbolic barrier represented the deep divide between the Soviet-led communist states of Eastern Europe and the capitalist Western states.
