John Wycliffe

John Wycliffe (c. 1320s – 1384) was an English theologian and early dissenter, often called the "Morning Star of the Reformation". He championed the idea of direct access to the Bible for all, advocating for its translation into vernacular English. His teachings sowed seeds of radical reform, challenging medieval Church authority.
