+Mary II (1662–1694) reigned as Queen of England, Scotland, and Ireland from 1689 until her death. She ruled jointly with her husband, [William III](/wiki/William_III), following the [Glorious Revolution](/wiki/Glorious_Revolution) that deposed her father. Their shared throne marked a unique era of co-monarchy in British history.
