Mebibyte

A mebibyte (MiB) is a unit of digital information, equivalent to 2^20 (1,048,576) Bytes. It uses a binary prefix to precisely denote a quantity, distinguishing itself from the decimal-based Megabyte (MB), which is 10^6 bytes. This standardization helps avoid ambiguity, especially in computing contexts.
