+A **mob** is a large, often disorderly or unruly [Crowd](/wiki/crowd) of people. Driven by collective [Emotion](/wiki/emotion), a mob can act with a unified, sometimes irrational, purpose. Such groups may emerge spontaneously or form around a common cause.
