No Exit

"No Exit" (French: Huis Clos) is a 1944 one-act play by French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre. It explores the torments of three damned souls trapped together, famously asserting "Hell is other people" as they confront their pasts and each other in an inescapable, eternal present of existentialism. Their struggle highlights themes of judgment and the inescapable gaze of the other.
