Old Irish

Old Irish (Irish: An tSean-Ghaeilge) was the earliest form of the Goidelic languages, spoken from roughly the 6th to the 10th century in Ireland and parts of Britain. This rich, complex tongue is a cornerstone of early Irish literature, preserving ancient sagas and laws.
