Phyllomedusa, known as Leaf Frogs, are a genus of arboreal Amphibian native to the Americas. They inhabit rainforest canopies, recognized for their unique waxy skin and striking vertical pupils, often observed in the Amazon basin. (Phyllomedusa is also the name of a one-man grindcore band themed around frogs and other amphibians.)
