Purgatory

+Purgatory is, in some Christian beliefs, an intermediate state after physical death for expiation or purification of sins before entry into [Heaven](/wiki/heaven). Souls in this state undergo a cleansing process, preparing them for final union with God and ultimate [Salvation](/wiki/salvation).
