Rhinopteraspis is an extinct genus of armored agnathan, a type of primitive Jawless Fish that swam the ancient seas during the early to mid-Devonian period. Its distinctive, shield-like head armor was often sculpted with intricate patterns, offering protection as it likely fed along the seabed.
