Scurvy

Scurvy is a disease caused by a severe, prolonged deficiency of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid). This nutritional Deficiency weakens connective tissues, leading to symptoms such as bleeding gums, fatigue, and poor wound healing. Historically, it plagued sailors on long voyages.
