Software Agent

+A **software agent** is a computer program that operates autonomously or on behalf of a user or entity. These agents can perceive their environment, make decisions, and execute actions, often exhibiting [Intelligent Behavior](/wiki/Intelligent_Behavior) or interacting with [Other Systems](/wiki/System). They are designed to accomplish tasks with some degree of independence and persistence.
