Volga Bulgaria

Volga Bulgaria was a historic Turkic State that flourished from the 7th to 13th centuries at the confluence of the Volga and Kama rivers. Adopting Islam in the 10th century, it became a vital hub of trade and culture between Europe and Asia before its eventual fall to the Mongols.
