Written Torah

The Written Torah (Hebrew: תורה שבכתב, Torah shebikhtav) refers to the Pentateuch, the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. It is traditionally believed to be the divine word revealed by God to Moses on Mount Sinai, forming the bedrock of Jewish law and belief.
