Sui Dynasty

The Sui Dynasty (581–618 AD) briefly reunified China after centuries of division, laying foundations for a golden age. Its most ambitious project, the monumental Grand Canal, linked north and south, fostering unity and trade. Though short-lived, Sui's administrative reforms left an indelible mark.
