Wiman Joseon was an ancient Korean state, founded by the refugee Wiman who fled from Yan during early Han Dynasty expansion. Wiman seized power from Gojoseon, ushering in a new era of prosperity through control of trade routes, until its eventual fall to the Han Empire.
